Our standards

How we build.

Most agency websites are built to look impressive on a sales call. Ours is built to be genuinely useful to the people who visit it, the machines that read it, and the team that maintains it.

This page documents the standards we hold ourselves to. We share these openly because we think the work behind a website should be legible to the people considering hiring us.

01

Performance

Every page loads quickly because slow sites lose visitors before they read anything. We target Lighthouse performance scores above 90 across all pages on both desktop and mobile. We use Next.js with image optimization, automatic code splitting, and modern compression formats to keep load times under two seconds on standard connections.

We monitor Core Web Vitals in production and treat regressions as bugs.

02

Accessibility

We design and develop with WCAG 2.2 Level AA principles in mind. This means semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, respect for motion preferences, and clear focus indicators throughout.

We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. These tools are widely opposed by the disability community and frequently break the experience for users who rely on assistive technology. We do the underlying work instead. Our full accessibility statement, including known limitations, is available at /accessibility.

03

AI Search Visibility

We build for the future of search, not just the present. Our sites include structured data, schema markup, and llms.txt files that make them legible to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. As AI tools become a primary discovery channel, sites built without these foundations will be invisible to a growing share of buyers.

We are early to this discipline because we think it matters more than most agencies have realized.

04

Privacy

We respect user privacy. Optional analytics tools only run after explicit consent, and visitors can change their preferences at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer. We collect the minimum data needed to operate the site, do not run advertising tracking, do not sell visitor data, and do not build profiles for resale.

Read our full Cookie Policy.

05

Code Quality

The site is built on modern, maintainable foundations. Next.js 15. React 19. TypeScript. Tailwind CSS. The codebase is organized for clarity, version controlled in Git, and structured so any developer can understand it quickly.

We avoid plugin sprawl. We use third-party tools when they genuinely add value, and we write our own when we can do better.

06

Content Standards

Every word on this site is written by us. No AI-generated filler. No outsourced content. No keyword-stuffed pages designed to rank without saying anything. The blog reflects what we actually believe about the work, including positions that disagree with industry norms.

We update content regularly. Stale information undermines trust.

07

Maintenance and Evolution

This site is not a finished project. It is a living asset we improve weekly. We add posts, refine sections, fix issues, and update content as our thinking evolves. Most agency sites are launched and then forgotten. We treat ours the way we want clients to treat the sites we build for them.

08

What This Means for Clients

The standards above are not unique to our own site. They are the standards we apply to every client engagement. The work we deliver is held to the same level of craft, the same accessibility principles, the same performance targets, and the same long-term thinking.

When you hire Taurus Nueva, you are hiring an agency that has already done this work for itself. The site you are reading is the proof.

If you have questions about how we work, or you want to see how we would apply these standards to your project, get in touch.
